We are glad to announce that IRC has a new facility specially tailored for PG students – The PG’s Lounge
The PG’s Lounge is located at the left wing of Level 1, next to IRC Special Collection Room. The lounge is opened to all postgraduate students and operating time is synchronous with IRC opening hours.
The objective of the PG Lounge is to provide leisure area for postgraduate students to socialize and detach themselves after hours of serious study and loads of research work. It is a platform where students can chat about serious research findings in a very cozy ambiance.
The PG Lounge has a mix of educational and relaxing furnishing ranging from comfortable sofas and stool bars to internet and multimedia viewing facilities. Students may view CD or DVD in IRC Media Collection by requesting online at IRC Media Library. All the materials can be browsed or searched through the OPAC. Request for DVD player can be made at the Circulation Counter, Level G.
Hopefully all postgraduate students will enjoy the facilities provided. Any suggestions or comments for enhancement and additional services are very much welcomed.
